Liverpool winger Diogo Jota has been given an upgrade on FIFA 21 after a strong start to his career at Anfield after joining in the summer
After an impressive start to his Liverpool career, winger Diogo Jota has been rewarded with an upgrade on FIFA 21 in the latest database update.
The Portugal international joined the Reds from Wolves in the summer and has since gone on to score nine goals in just 17 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp's side, with only 10 of those appearances being starts, which makes his record even more impressive.
However a knee injury has kept the 24-year-old out of action since the start of December, with his last appearance coming in the Champions League against FC Midtjylland on December 9.
In the latest FIFA 21 player database update, rolled out on January 6, 2021 for players on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, Jota's overall rating has been increased from 80 to 81, with his potential also increasing from 86 to 87.
Jota is now the same overall rating as Naby Keita, but now has the potential to better than Roberto Firmino (86) according to FIFA 21.
In terms of individual attributes, Jota's crossing (68-69), finishing (80-82), heading accuracy (60-65), short passing (72-73), volleys (76-77), long passing (68-69), reactions (82-83), shot power (82-83), stamina (79-80) and standing tackle (54-55) have all been increased.
But if the winger can replicate his early season form on his return from injury, expect more FIFA 21 upgrades to come his way.
