Liverpool have been dealt yet another injury blow after Naby Keita was forced off against Leicester City.
The Guinea international went down early in the second half and was stretching out his right leg before the physios came over to attend to him.
Keita was replaced by Neco Williams to move James Milner into midfield as Jurgen Klopp watched his options deplete even further.
The midfielder will now be assessed by Liverpool medical staff and is likely to undergo a scan to determine the severity of the issue.
The latest setback for Liverpool is just another in a huge list that Klopp has been forced to contend with already this season.
The Reds boss is currently unable to field Trent Alexander-Arnold, Thiago Alcantara, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or captain Jordan Henderson.
