Roberto Firmino was absent from Liverpool's open training session along with several others ahead of the Champions League clash with Atalanta
Jordan Henderson and Thiago Alcantara are almost certain to miss Wednesday's Champions League clash with Atalanta after sitting out Liverpool training.
Roberto Firmino is cleared to play, though, despite his absence from the session on Tuesday evening.
The Reds were put through their paces at the club's AXA Training Centre ahead of the Group D game with the Italians at Anfield.
Captain Henderson was not involved as he continues to work his way back to fitness after pulling out of England duty last week.
Thiago hasn't played for five weeks after suffering a knee injury after a wild challenge from Everton's Richarlison in the 2-2 draw with Everton on October 17.
Neither were included in the open training session as they sat out proceedings alongside Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Meanwhile Firmino missed training at the new £50million complex as Jurgen Klopp prepared his players for the final time before the Group D clash that could see the Reds qualify for the knockout stages.
The ECHO understands Firmino's absence with the main group is not linked to any potential injury and the Brazilian is in line to feature against Gian Piero Gasperini's side.
Should the Reds beat the Serie A club on Wednesday and Ajax fail to win against Danish outfit Midtjylland in Amsterdam, Liverpool will qualify for the last 16 of Europe's premier competition.
