Liverpool have reportedly made a £27million bid to sign Ajax centre-half Perr Schuurs
The Reds have been linked with a move for the Ajax defender Perr in recent weeks.
The need for defensive reinforcements could well be on the agenda in January given those significant injuries to Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk.
And now the Daily Star is citing reports from the Italian publication Corriere dello Sport which suggest the Reds may have submitted an offer, said to be in the region of £27m.
An interesting one to keep an eye on. Especially given Ajax come to Anfield next week!
Schuurs has excelled for Ajax since the sale of Matthijs de Ligt to Juventus.
The 21-year-old has a similar playing style to that of De Ligt and is reportedly a priority for Klopp, despite his stance that Joel Matip could enjoy an injury-free run to the end of the season.
Ajax would be prepared to sell for Schuurs for €27m according to The Sun.
