Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick has said Thiago Alcantara has insisted he wants to remain at club after winning Champions League
Following the Bavarian's Champions League triumph against PSG on Sunday evening Flick told reporters when asked about Thiago's potential exit.
"He told me that he would stay [at Bayern]," Flick said in his post-match press conference.
"I just thanked him. I don't know [where his future lies], he doesn't know himself yet.
"We'll have to wait and see what happens in the next few days."
Although it has been claimed that Flick's first comment was a mere joke just wanting to gyp at leading expectations.
Liverpool, Arsenal including PSG are all interested in signing Thiago this summer.
The Reds are tipped frontrunners but Mikel Arteta's Gunners have come closer lately with PSG still silent over a move after revealing their interest earlier this month.
