Liverpool have agreed a £11.75million deal with Olympiakos to sign Kostas Tsimikas
The 24-year-old left-back is expected to arrive Melwood this week to fulfil the final phase of his transfer.
Following Norwich's dismissal of Liverpool's £10million bid for Jamal Lewis last week, a 'shocker' move came through for Tsimikas with the Reds knowing that they won't meet the Canaries' £20million asking price for Lewis.
Norwich wanted £20m for their 22-year-old full-back, whereas Liverpool have valued him at around £10m.
Tsimikas move will now come as a shocker to the England youngster whose latest dream was to compete Andrew Robertson in a Liverpool Jersey next season.
Greece international Tsimikas will fly to the UK in the coming days to undergo his medical and seal contract agreement with the Premier League Champions.
