Norwich City have rejected Liverpool's £10million bid for Jamal Lewis
The 22-year-old became the subject of a first Liverpool bid about a week ago after the Reds lined up his move as a possible cover left-back for Andrew Robertson.
Lewis recently made it known that he wanted a move to Anfield as he's not worried about playing second fiddle to Robertson.
But it has been gathered that Liverpool bid for the Northern Ireland international has been turned down with the player's employers demanding the champions to double their offer.
Norwich City reportedly want £20million for Lewis and they're hoping Liverpool makes an improved offer in the shortest run.
And with a first bid now rejected by the Canaries, Liverpool could henceforth push for a swap deal, using the seller's target Yasser Larouci as a makeweight to pull off a deal.
