Jamal Lewis has reportedly made a decision that would speed up his transfer to Anfield this summer
Liverpool are looking for a backup left-back for Andrew Robertson in the market and have opted for Norwich City's full back Jamal Lewis.
The 22-year-old who suffered relegation setback with Norwich City has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs with Jurgen Klopp's side tipped as frontrunners.
Crystal Palace had an offer of £12million rejected by Norwich in January for Lewis but the exit door is open for the Northern Ireland international this summer.
And despite the Reds being tipped favourites recently, it was feared that they could miss out as the player's regular play time can't be guaranteed with Andrew Robertson already flying his position.
According to Express Sport Lewis have now reportedly agreed to play second fiddle to Robertson as he continues pushing for his fancied move, removing the champions fear about a regular playtime which in turn grants them a completion boost.
Another stumbling block on the Reds' potential deal is Norwich City's demanded price of £20million. The Independent claims Jurgen Klopp side are only ready to pay £10million at moment.
