Liverpool are yet to pay the £35m fee in demand for Thiago Alcantara despite reaching mutual agreement with the player

Thiago was reportedly closer to sealing a move from Bayern Munich few weeks ago after reaching terms with Liverpool.
The 29-year-old was believed to have agreed terms to join the Reds on a four-year contract and awaits the Premier League Champions to pay his £35million asking price.
But the Reds uncertainly have been reluctant to shell out that amount and a report from Italy has suggest they could now be set to miss out as Manchester City and Juventus have entered the race for the playmaker.
TuttoJuve, via Daily Mail, reported that 29-year-old Thiago has received interest from both City and Juventus despite other reports claiming that Klopp's side have advanced their pursuit to sign the Spanish midfielder.
