They've now appeared in pole position to land Chelsea forward Willian whose contract at Stamford Bridge ends next month.
A source very close to the Brazilian who turns 32-year-old next month [undisclosed] told lfcrumour.com that the player has already been aware of the Reds' interest which has stayed low-key and will move to Anfield anytime soon.
Willian who recently has turned down a 'three-year deal' offer from David Beckham's Inter Miami according to The Telegraph has also attracted interest from Tottenham.
