Liverpool are reportedly set for a £17million windfall next season after Barcelona's transfer U-turn for Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho is expected to leave Camp Nou for good this summer, with Premier League rivals Tottenham, Everton and Chelsea among the clubs reported to be interested in the Brazilian midfielder.
But with Bayern Munich unwilling to sign him permanently after taking him on loan for the season, there is simply no market to sell the 27-year-old.
Clubs everywhere are set to struggle financially due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic - not to mention the fact that it is not yet known when the transfer window will even open.
So Barcelona have decided to hold onto him for another season according to the Mirror.
Spanish publication Marca claims Coutinho staying another season at Barcelona will cost the Catalan club an extra £17million fee which is going straight into Liverpool's coffers.
The report stated that when Coutinho signed for Liverpool in January 2018, one of the clauses inserted into the deal was that Barcelona would pay the Reds 20million euros (£17m) once the Brazilian had played 100 games for the Catalan giants.
Coutinho so far has made 76 outings for Barcelona and a return from Bayern Munich to the Catalan club could see him reach the landmark of 100 games.
