Liverpool are reportedly closing in on the signing of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner despite coronavirus lockdown
Werner has arguably been one of the most strongly linked players with Liverpool so far this term.
Variety of publications have endlessly tipped Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side to snap the German international up in the summer.
A recent report claims Inter Milan are considering moving for Werner as potential replacement for their star man Lautaro Martinez who has caught the eye of Spain giants Barcelona.
Werner is undoubtedly a target for several European elite clubs this summer and Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also included on the player's buyers list.
Amidst interest from other heavyweight suitors, Liverpool still remains frontrunners in Werner's chase with over £50million fee and a five-year contract rumoured to have already been agreed for the player.
Werner has scored 27 goals in all competitions for Bundesliga outfit Leipzig so far this season.
