Philippe Coutinho was strongly linked with a move to Tottenham in the summer but a deal fell through at the last minute

Former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho will reportedly not consider a move to Tottenham this summer because he is still furious at how he was treated by their chairman Daniel Levy last year, that's according to the Daily Mail.
The attacking midfielder is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Barcelona, but the German giants are not said to be considering making the move permanent following the player's largely underwhelming season.
Coutinho, 27, has been unable to recreate the impressive form he showed at Liverpool since joining Barcelona in 2018, and he was allegedly nearly sold to Spurs last summer.
The Daily Mail stated Spurs chairman frugal Levy attempted to reduce the finances involved with Coutinho's transfer deal last summer which led to the whole thing crashing at the end.
And for that reason the former Liverpool keyman won't be accepting offers from the Lilywhites this summer.
Tottenham are among those being linked with a move for Coutinho, along with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, but it appears they will miss out on the playmaker for the second time.
Coutinho has scored eight goals and created six assists in 22 appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season.
