Liverpool have reportedly made contact to sign Eduardo Camavinga ahead of Manchester United and Arsenal this summer
Camavinga currently plays for French Ligue one side Stede Rennes and the 17-year-old is seen as one of the fast rising prospects in European football.
The France U-17 international first caught the eye when he tormented Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 back in August.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of Rennes that day, but it was also a realisation for the Rennais that they had a real talent on their hands who could potentially make them big money.
On the knowledge that some European heavyweights are circling ahead of the summer transfer window, the French club are now set to demand £46m for their wonderkid.
Arsenal were unable to convince Rennes to part with their rising star last summer and Manchester United think he can be their successor to Paul Pogba, but SPORT claim Liverpool have now entered the race.
The Spanish newspaper also claims that Liverpool have been in touch with Rennes about signing the youngster.
