The former Liverpool target said he was left stunned by the atmosphere inside Anfield and the Liverpool supporters
Liverpool saw their Champions League hope this season, brought to an end by Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night — after slipping off a 2-1 aggregate lead in the second leg round-16 tie of the competition.
Diego Simeone's side, despite failing behind to goals from Gini Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino, hit back in the closing stages of the first period in extra time to level the scoreline on the night and go ahead on aggregate.
Alvaro Morata then raced clear in the closing stages to hand defending champions Liverpool an upsetting 4-2 aggregate defeat at Anfield.
There were lot of goals to cherish by the visitors but despite all celebrations, the moment that caught the memory of Atletico Madrid's forward Felix was the noise that followed Wijnaldum's first half opener.
"It was incredible," the former Benfica star told Spanish publication AS.
"I shouldn't say it, but when they scored, seeing the stadium and their way of celebrating….
"I had seen this on television, but seeing it live and being within this great atmosphere…. Hardly anyone wins here and we are so happy."
