Liverpool supporters want Mohamed Salah sold after his Egypt national team admits they would want him at the 2020 Olympics
Egypt seems to have been tipping Mohamed Salah as one of their over age players that would be the bigwig among the rest of the nation's U23 side for the competition later this year.
And the Liverpool winger honouring a call up would mean the Reds must have to endure the opening weeks of next season Premier League campaign without the Egyptian.
The Olympic Games run from July 24 to August 9, and adding to that, Salah will also spend January and February in Cameroon with the Egypt senior ranks for the AFCON 2021.
For that reason some Reds supporters think it would be best if their club offloads the 27-year-old and replace him with Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Liverpool should sell @MoSalah if he agrees to go to the Olympics and use the money to sign @Sanchooo10 Sancho!"
Another fan wrote: "Controversial I know but if Sancho and [Timo] Werner are available this summer I’d personally sell Salah."
A third fan added: "Just sell him next summer. Will also miss because of the african cup in jan 2021."
