Jurgen Klopp ready to consider Coutinho return

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly open to the idea of re-signing Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho left Liverpool for Barcelona in a record breaking £142million transfer back in 2018, and was linked with a move back to Anfield in few months of his stay with the Catalans.

Since his departure Liverpool boss Jurgen  Klopp has searched for a creative midfielder in the market.

And it is understood that a move for Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Havertz remains at the top of the Reds wishlist.

Klopp splashed serious cash a few seasons ago when he landed Virgil van Dijk, Alisson, Naby Keita and Fabinho for a combined £230million fee.

Since creating a Champions League winning team, well on their way to winning a first Premier League title this season, Klopp has put the chequebook down.

But this could change when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

According to Express Sport, Klopp is ready to test Leverkusen's resolve over Havertz and should Liverpool be priced out of a deal, then the German may consider resigning.

It has been claimed Coutinho may cost less than £65million as Barcelona are considering lowering his asking price to offload him.
