Fans have reacted to a rare photo of Jurgen Klopp mocking Antonio Mohamed's yellow card waving during Club World Cup clash
Liverpool needed a stoppage-time winner from Roberto Firmino against Monterrey to book their place in the Club World Cup final on Wednesday.
It was far from an easy contest for the reigning Champions League winners with Funes Mori equalising minutes after Naby Keita had netted an early lead.
The Mexican side frustrated Jurgen Klopp's men, dominated large parts of the game and could have taken the lead on several occasions.
But Firmino providing a finishing touch in stoppage time after pouncing on a perfectly placed low-cross from Alexander-Arnold helped the Reds avoided the upset.
During the second interval of the game, Jurgen Klopp was caught in a furious altercation with Monterrey boss Antonio Mohamed which resulted in both managers being shown a yellow card.
The quarrel started after Mohamed gestured towards the official to show Joe Gomez a second yellow card to which the Liverpool boss responded by leaving his technical area and began mocking Mohamed by copying the gesture.
The photo went viral on social media, with Liverpool fans taking to Twitter to share their love for Klopp's hilarious expression.
One supporter wrote: "I'll never stop laughing at Klopp calling out Monterrey’s boss."
Another laughed: "How can you not love Jurgen Klopp?"
A third joked: "Klopp sending the Monterrey manager back to grade 4."
