Jurgen Klopp has extended his Liverpool stay to 2024
The deal follows a four hugely successful years in charge of Liverpool and will ensure the long-term foundations for the team's development into the next decade.
Klopp has turned Liverpool’s fortunes around in the last two years, turning them from fringe contenders to Champions League winners.
Liverpool are favourites to win their first ever Premier League title this season after thirty years drought as they're already 14 points clear of last year's winners Manchester City.
And Klopp has detailed his belief that the benefits for both parties of the latest agreement mean there is nowhere else in world football he'd want to manage.
"For me personally this is a statement of intent, one which is built on my knowledge of what we as a partnership have achieved so far and what is still there for us to achieve," the German said.
"When I see the development of the club and the collaborative work that continues to take place, I feel my contribution can only grow."
The Liverpool manager also believe that his new contract extension will help the club sign players in the summer transfer window.
"Not now, it's completely calm and exactly like it should be but maybe in the summer we would have started again talking about things like that, new players when you want to bring them in, they ask how long manager here as stuff like that.
"So it's done, I'm happy with that."
The Reds have already put pen to paper on an agreement for Red Bull Salzburg star Takumi Minaimino, who will join in January.
