The Liverpool boss explained he did not celebrate and expects a big challenge
Liverpool will face Everton in the FA Cup third round on January 4 after both teams have locked horns in tonight Premier League derby.
Everton boss Marco Silva is under serious pressure after a miserable start to the season, with the Toffees sitting 17th in the league table.
It is believed Klopp could be up against a new manager in the new year as the current Merseyside Blue boss is not far from getting sacked by the Anfield siblings.
However, Klopp whose Liverpool side are top of the League table knows he cannot afford to underestimate the opposition tonight.
Asked how he reacted to being drawn against Everton in the FA Cup, the Liverpool manager replied: "I didn't run through my living room to celebrate!
"I think for both teams it was not exactly what you wish for but we have no problem playing Everton, it's a big game, great club, big opponent.
"Last year we had Wolves at home and Chelsea away in the League Cup. Obviously we go always the hard way. That's our way, but we have time.
"Until we have to prepare for that Everton game, we must prepare for this Everton game. Hopefully we do the right things."
Last time when both rivals met in December Klopp sprinted onto the pitch after Divock Origi headed home a last-gasp winner for the Reds and Klopp isn't convince it will be a different encounter this time around.
