Manchester United target Erling Braut Haaland is reportedly keen on a move to Liverpool in January
Haaland has been one of the prominent names that have been linked with the Reds ahead of the winter transfer window this period.
The Norway international is currently one of the brightest goalscoring prospect in Europe.
The 19-year-old has scored a total of 28 goals in 22 appearances so far for RB Salzburg, and his impressive goalscoring streak has attracted interest from numbers of European elite clubs.
It was earlier understood that Manchester United are frontrunners in the race to sign the Norwegian striker.
But recent reports has revealed the Austria Bundesliga leading goalscorer is now expecting the Reds to bid for him this winter following Salzburg failure to qualify for the Champion League knockout stages.
Haaland currently worth €33million with four years still left on his running contract, although Salzburg are demanding a fee close to €100million for the highly rated youngster.
