Andrew Robertson and Mohamed Salah could miss Reds' trip to London due to ankle injury
A humiliating 3-1 thrashing of Manchester City on Sunday saw both Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson injured and both stars have been confirmed to stay sidelines during their international duties.
Salah has been troubled by a recurring ankle issue since limping out of the 2-1 win over Leicester on October 5 after a poor challenge from Hamza Choudhury.
The Egyptian missed the 1-1 draw with Manchester United as a result of the injury and aggravated the issue again in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Manchester City after a tackle from Fernandinho in the first half.
Salah reportedly left Anfield on Sunday after City clash to report for Egypt's AFCON qualifier matches with Kenya and Comoros on Thursday and Sunday respectively.
The 27-year-old however was seen with an incensed ankle problem after undergoing a scan with the Egypt medical team while the Pharaohs unhesitatingly decided the Liverpool forward stays sidelines for the two matches.
Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson meanwhile was withdrawn from Scotland's squad for their fixtures with Kazakhstan and Cyprus as he was limped out of play with a heavily swollen ankle on against City.
