Liverpool have completed the permanent sale of wantaway striker Ryan Kent
The 22-year-old now returns to the Ibrox where he won the PFA Player of the year last term in a season loan spell under Steven Gerrard.
Kent made 44 appearances and fired in 6 goals on his loan spell last season and has been pushing for a move away from Anfield over the summer.
Throughout the summer Rangers have made it known they wished to loan Kent and after Leeds had a final bid of £4.5m rejected the day before the English transfer window shut, manager Steven Gerrard revealed that Kent was his No 1 target.
The Reds however received a number of enquiries from foreign clubs, rejecting a £5m offer from Krasnodar two weeks ago, and there was interest in the player from France and Belgium.
But Kent has had his heart set on a return to Rangers to team up with Gerrard and the Scottish giants have made a Deadline Day move to complete the deal.
It is gathered that £6.5m of the fee is guaranteed and £1m is in add-ons.
