FSG has urged Jurgen Klopp to keep all focus on winning the Premier League or defending their Champions League title this season
Despite accumulating a huge 97 points in the Premier League last season, Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side narrowly lost the title to defending champions Manchester City.
But that bitter setback was later dominated by their Champions League triumph against Tottenham in Madrid, becoming their 6th European Cup glory.
Liverpool will have other minor competitions, the likes of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup to participate this season.
But it appears the club owners have a burning desire for the bigger accolades rather than scooping domestic Cup competitions.
According to The Mirror, Jurgen Klopp has been urged to keep eyes on winning either the club's 19th Premier League title or retaining the Champions League.
Liverpool have won the FA Cup trophy seven times and the League Cup eight times but they have struggled to add to their Premier League titles for over 29 years.
