Chelsea suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at Old Trafford in their Premier League opener against Manchester United on Sunday. It was their first competitive outing since Hazard's departure to Real Madrid in June.

Hazard aided Chelsea to their European League triumph last season, scoring 21 goals and providing 17 assists for the west Londoners.

But his departure from Stamford Bridge may be felt as a huge blow in the Blues' lineup, as they were torn apart by Manchester United last Sunday.

Klopp, like many others, is aware of just how important Hazard was to Chelsea and believes they're completely a different setup without him in their squad.

The Liverpool manager when asked if Liverpool’s European Super Cup clash with the Blues, will be different to the Champions League final, said: "To the Champions League final? Yes, hopefully.

"That game wasn't an eye-catcher, but it's not about that. You saw that both teams were under pressure and felt the intensity and the importance of the final, which can lead to strange things.

"It's a final, but the big difference between the Champions League final and this game is that it’s a new season, a different opponent.

"I think Chelsea have changed a lot: a new manager, Eden Hazard is not there anymore."
