Harry Wilson joins Bournemouth on loan

AFC Bournemouth have sealed a year loan deal for Liverpool's Harry Wilson

The Liverpool winger joined Bournemouth on a season-long loan after Eddie Howe identified the Wales international as an ideal replacement for David Brooks.

The 22-year-old will spend the 2019-20 campaign on the south coast after sealing a temporary switch on Tuesday.

Wilson was initially expected to seal a permanent switch after the Reds had tagged a £25m valuation on him earlier in the summer, but Jürgen Klopp could still want his service in the near future and has administered a loan move to offer the winger the chance for a regular Premier League show this season.

"It's great to be here, great to finally get everything sorted and I can't wait to meet all the staff and the lads," Wilson told afcbTV.

"When Liverpool informed me it was a possibility to come here I was keen to get it sorted.

"I want to play Premier League football and with a great team like Bournemouth.

"With the style of play that Bournemouth are likely to play I feel that I can fit right in and help the team a lot."

According to Sky Sports, Bournemouth have paid Liverpool a £2.5m loan fee with a possible £500,000 in performance-related bonuses.
