Aubameyang fires title warning to Liverpool and Manchester City

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang believes Arsenal are equipped enough to mount a title challenge with the big guns this season

The Gunners failed to qualify for this season's Champions League last term, finishing fifth behind Tottenham and losing another golden opportunity to do so in the European League final against Chelsea.

The London club have managed to strengthen their side in the summer transfer, adding the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Dani Ceballos and David Luis to their rank.

And Aubamenyang who has been match winner for Arsenal in two Premier League games is convinced they can get top-four finish this season and are ready to battle it out with Premier League favourites - notably Liverpool and Manchester City for the League title.

"I think as I said earlier we have made good signings, that will help us," the Gabonese told Canal Plus.

"Last season, we were not far away from qualifying for the Champions' League. Whatever happens, that is the most important thing, the most important aim for us is to be back in the Champions' League.

"Aside from that, to fight for the title, we know very well that the big guns are ready but we are also ready and in any case we are going to give our all to match the big guns if possible."
