Sam Allardyce think Jurgen Klopp's tactics and training methods led to Liverpool's heavy injury setbacks last season

Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool back in 2015 and introduced a different training regime and tactical approach from the one that had been in place under former boss Brendan Rodgers.
The Reds witnessed heavy injury scare last season, with their back-four ruled out and leaving Virgil van Dijk as the only senior defender fit for use.
Allardyce, whose last managerial post was with Everton in 2018, was critical of Jurgen Klopp's training methods implemented at Anfield, believing it burns players out

Allardyce said about Klopp on talkSPORT: "Personally, I hope he’s learned his lesson [from] when he first came.
"Because he did that pressing job and he got about eight to ten injuries. I think when you train at a high intensity and play at a high intensity, you’re going to burn players out, I was speaking to Sir Alex about this at his golf do."
