The Liverpool trio and Champions League winner medalists last season, feature on the 10-man shortlist for the accolade that was won by Luka Modric last year.
Van Dijk was crowned PFA Players' Player of the Year in April after a stellar campaign marshalling Jürgen Klopp's backline to lifting the European Cup.
Mane and Salah, meanwhile, shared the Premier League Golden Boot award, along with Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as 22 goals saw the Egyptian retain his crown.
The shortlist, which takes into accounts achievements from July 16, 2018 to July 19, 2019, also comprises of Tottenham striker Harry Kane, former Ajax duo Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt, Real Madrid's Eden Hazard, PSG ace Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
The winner of the FIFA award will be decided by fans, journalists, national team coaches and captains.
