Liverpool target Kalidou Koulibaly has hinted he is leaving Napoli this summer
Jurgen Klopp side will be lacking a cover left-back for Scot Captain Andy Robertson when Alberto Moreno finally quits Anfield this summer.
Koulibaly would be a fine option for the Reds but a switch to Anfield could mean a selection headache for Jurgen Klopp at the left-back position, as the Senegalese has also been ranked alongside Robertson as one of Europe's finest full-backs in last season campaign.
However, the Reds have been handed a transfer boost to land the 28-year-old this summer following his recent comment about his future at Serie A club Napoli.
Speaking to Goal after Senegal's 2-0 victory over Tanzanian in the ongoing Afcon 2019, Koulibaly said: "I don't know [if I'll still be at Napoli next year], I think so. But I have to play the Afcon and then after that I'll go back to Napoli.
"Everyone's speaking about me, but I'm only speaking about Senegal, because that's my objective today and I want to achieve something big with Senegal.
"I don't want to talk about my future today, I prefer to talk about Senegal.
"Senegal achieved something great today. I am 200 per cent with Senegal and 200% with the 15 million Senegalese people.
"I'm relaxed, I want to focus on the Afcon and after that return to Napoli and we'll see what happens.
"The most important thing now is to win with Senegal."
Both Manchester United and Manchester City are also rumoured to be interested in the 28-year-old who's currently playing for his nationals alongside Liverpool forward Sadio Mane at the AFCON 2019.
