The Reds were linked with a move for Dybala last summer but their interest on the Argentine was given no consent by Juventus.

However, the Old Ladies became aware of the Reds interest to sign their star man and earlier this year it was reported that the Serie A giants wanted to offer the 26-year-old plus cash for Mohamed Salah.

But, Dybala recently has squashed speculations of him leaving Juventus this summer after his agent and brother suggested his future lay away from Turin.

"My brother spoke for himself," Paulo told Sky Sport Italia at an event at the Adidas Store in Milan.

"I talked to the club and Fabio Paratici [Juve sporting director] and they know what I think.

"Paratici knows that next year I want to continue here. Then it doesn't depend on me. Juventus must make its choices with the coach that will come. But society knows it - next year I want to stay here.

"I have a lot of respect for this shirt and for these fans, and because of this I will only talk about Juventus, not about other teams, because that seems to me a lack of respect."
