Liverpool have reportedly tabled a £22m bid for Real Sociedad centre-back Diego Llorente

The Reds have been linked with moves for a number of heavyweight centre-back players this summer including a recent upsetting rumour about their interest in Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.
Now, according to Spanish publishers AS, they have tabled what would be their first bid for the new window, a £22million offer to tempt Spanish first tier side, Real Sociedad to let Diego Llorente move to Anfield.
The reports also claimed that Llorente was under the watch of Liverpool during the season and Sociedad would accept that a deal is concluded for less than a £44m release clause in the player's contract.
Llorente, 25, has made just two caps for Spain, and has been playing for Real Sociedad since joining from Real Madrid in 2017.
