Sadio Mane has suggested he want to remain at Liverpool despite huge interest from European giants Real Madrid.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane's made the Senegalese a prime target last summer before quitting as the club manager.

Mane has since then been on the wishlist of the Los Blancos and he is now being considered as part their transfer plans for the summer as they aim to haul their side back glory ways.

Speaking ahead of the Liverpool's Champions League last-8 2nd leg clash with Porto, Mane opened up about his future, insisting he wants to remain at Anfield and be a legend.

"Of course I want to be a legend not only for Liverpool but also in the Premier League story and that is one of my targets. I will do everything possible to achieve everything possible," Mane told the official LFC magazine.

"Reaching 100 games means a lot to me. To play this many games for a club like Liverpool is incredible.

"Like I have always said, I am very happy to play for this club and every single day I am enjoying being here and trying to do everything to win something for this club."
