Fekir is believing Liverpool have not giving up on signing him after a potential switch that was nearly done last summer was halted following a reported medical setback.
Recent reports from French newspaper L'Equipe has claimed that the Lyon skipper could be let loose this summer with his contract extension talk still unsettled.
Fekir has shone for the Les Gones this season, scoring 12 goals in all competitions as his side reached the last-16 of the Champions League and currently sit third in the French Ligue 1 table.
In an interview with Telefoot the 25-year-old was quizzed about his future and what he thinks of a Liverpool move this year.
Fekir answered: "Liverpool? It’s part of a player’s career, but it makes you stronger and you have to move forward.
"I really don't know what I will do but as I said, I feel good in Lyon, the president trusts me, that’s good. You will see."
