Arsenal ace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has warned rivals - he's gunning for the PL golden shoe after scoring the Gunners' only goal to beat Watford on Monday night.

Aubameyang capitalised on a mistake from Ben Foster to bag his 18th goal of the campaign as the Gunners moved back into the Premier League top four.

It was a crucial win for Unai Emery's men and also and important strike from the Gabonese that led to the victory, putting him one goal behind leading goalscorers Salah and Aguero with just fewer than five games to end the campaign.

Aubameyang told Sky Sports when asked about the golden boot: "Why not? I feel confident, and the race is going on.

"I know that it's a tough battle. I'm confident and I will carry on."

"For a long time I've wanted to score a goal like this, and tonight it came through.

"I was confident because normally keepers, they don't really know if you are coming back to them.

"Tonight it is a good goal for me, I like it!

"It was a great goal from Mo Salah, unbelievable goal. But I like sometimes to score one like mine. Maybe it was not an easy goal, but it was easier than Mo!"
