Reports from Sky Arabia had alleged that Ronaldo is aware of the potential move for the Egyptian and has given it a green light.
The Portuguese matched a 44-goal scoring show with Mohamed Salah last season - which saw both parties going head to head in the Champions League final at Kyiv.
And Salah who won the Premier League golden shoe on his debut last season is edging on his best again for the Reds as he has succeeded in writing his name on the shortlist for the accolade this term with 17 goals.
Juventus were earlier reported to have made a player plus cash offer for the Liverpool winger.
