Rangers are planning to keep on loan Red star Ryan Kent on a permanent deal in the summer
Kent, 25, whose Liverpool contracts runs until 2020 has impressed on his loan spell under Steven Gerrard at the Ibrox.
And the Scottish Premier League club are ready to offer a permanent deal to the winger who may have to struggle to get into Liverpool's settings after his loan spell.
Rangers football director Mark Allen said: "We would certainly like to pursue what we do next with Ryan, but that is a conversation we have to have with Liverpool.
"I don't want to speak for Liverpool, but I am sure they would be happy with the way that Ryan is settled and performing and maybe would see us a good vehicle for their players to give them much-needed experience."
Steven Gerrard is appearing to be Ranger awaited messiah, having being able to mount a title challenge with Celtic who've been Scottish Premier League champions over the past seven years.
Ranger are currently second behind Celtic in the Scottish Premier League table with goal differences.
