What Wolvermpton ace said prior to their 2-0 defeat struck fear into Red fans

Adama Traore was confident Wolves would stop Liverpool unbeaten run amid Dejan Lovren claim earlier this week

Lfc rumour
Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren earlier this week had said that they can emulate Arsenal 2003/04 team that went unbeaten to the Premier League glory that season.

But Lovren said: "Of course it will be a challenge but this is what we want, this is why we came here to Liverpool because we know we can do it. Arsenal did it before, so why not?"

Liverpool are yet to lose a match in the Premier League this season, topping the league standings with a point above title rivals Manchester City.

But a 2-0 victory over Nuno Espirito Santo’s side that have stayed unbeaten against several of the big teams now put Liverpool four points ahead until Saturday evening when the Citizens welcomes Crystal Palace.

Prior to the game at the Molineux, Traore told The Telegraph: "We have been amazing against the big teams: we’ve beaten Chelsea and drawn with United, City and Arsenal.

"We approach them all with the same mentality, to win, and we will be doing it again on Friday.

"I signed here because the club has great ambition and we are wanting to reach the top. These games are the motivation for any player.

"Liverpool are an amazing team but they have to lose eventually - it could be us who beats them, who knows what could happen?"
