Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson believe Liverpool will suffer upset like Manchester City did during the weekend
Manchester City came through a surprise defeat at the Etihad on Saturday with Crystal Palace being able to secure a 3-2 scoreline from the 85th minute of the game to full time.
The narrow victory over the reigning champions now put Liverpool four point clear at the top of the League table after 18 League matches.
The Reds have gone flawless so far in the Premier League this season conceding just seven without a lost but Hodgson thinks City boss Pep Guardiola will be fully aware that there could be more surprising results to come as the season unfolds.
"Pep Guardiola is a very intelligent guy," said Hodgson.
"They haven't caught up those four points but he knows there are 20 matches left to play - and one of those is going to be against Liverpool.
"I don't think he will be concerned about that and he'll know that, no matter how Liverpool play, they will come against a game like this.
"They will go somewhere and someone will beat them against the odds. Someone will upset them.
"There is a long way to go yet."
Liverpool will host former boss Rafa Benitez side on boxing day as they look forward to continue their unbeaten streak to keep them floating at top of the league standing.
