Liverpool front-line must be on their best to beat Bournemouth
That’s the view of the Arsenal legend and Premier League pundit, who believe Liverpool front-line have not match the rhythm in which they played last season.
The front three - Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Mane have scored 17 Premier League goals so far this season while last season they fired in a total of 57 PL goals.
Liverpool haven’t been as smooth going forward this season and needed an injury time strike from Divock Origi to beat Everton last week, while they came from behind to snatch a 3-1 victory against the Burnley with a much changed team in the midweek.
"The team he played against Burnley show he’s got this period in mind, but he’s got the team that can deal with the stress of those games,” Wright said.
"Bournemouth are very organised so it will be a tough game.
"The guys up front [for Liverpool] are going to need to be sharper than they have been.
"The way Liverpool are playing this season and having seen what they're capable of last season, people are still saying this is good form.
"They're winning games, they’re not playing brilliantly well but they're winning.
"It's going brilliantly but we’ve got Manchester City.
"They’ve [Liverpool] got to stay in touch."
