Loris Karius reacts to Liverpool January return claims

Loris Karius has lambaste rumour mongers over claims that Besiktas want his immediate return to Anfield

Lfc rumour
The German goalkeeper after several setbacks at Liverpool last season was allowed to leave on a loan deal to Besiktas which would keep him at the Turkish club for over a year.

Karius is expected to return to Liverpool after his 2019-20 season with the Super Lig outfit but recent reports has claimed the 25-year-old could return earlier as Besiktas want him to return to Anfield in January.

But such claims - the German has taken to social media to lambaste when he captioned a recent photo on Instagram "Coffee first, media's bull**** second."

Furthermore, Karius' agent Florian Goll when asked about the speculation, said: "Complete nonsense. "I wonder where things come from. "This news is completely untrue.

"Loris is on loan to Besiktas for two years - that's the situation. The club has no intention of ending this loan contract prematurely."

But, while the Super Lig club have not been overly fascinated with Karius' displays since arriving in Istanbul, Yilmaz thinks they will stick with him until the end of the campaign before making any decisions about his future in the Turkish capital.
