Zeljeko Buvac was Jurgen Klopp assistant at Liverpool before his abrupt departure early April
The 56-year-old who has often been nicknamed ‘the brain’ for his influence on Klopp's 'Gegenpressing' has worked alongside Klopp for the last 17 years and coached under the German at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund before joining Liverpool in 2015.
Report from the Daily Record claimed Klopp and Buvac stopped speaking during matches prior to his departure.
Buvac left Liverpool as the club assistant manager in April before their Champions League semi-final with Roma.
Despite he has left the club, his name still appears on the list of employees in the club's official website - but James Pearce who reports for the Liverpool Echo think Buvac won't return to Anfield.
"There won't be an announcement from the club until the terms of his exit have been agreed," he answered during a Q&A on Tuesday.
"I thought it would have happened before now but clearly it has dragged on with lawyers involved.
"I certainly don’t expect Buvac to return to Liverpool."
