Chelsea are favourite to land Liverpool target Christian Pulisic in January
Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic has been on Liverpool radar with plans to swoop for the American in January.
Pulisic who starred in USA friendly with England at Wembley on Thursday, is claimed to be resisting a new deal to stay at the Iduna park as his current contract ends in 2020.
It is now claimed by the Mail that Chelsea are leading the race ahead of Liverpool and Tottenham to lure the American winger to the Premier League.
Pulisic 20, is one of the fast rising star in the Europe and is valued at £70million by Dortmund who currently are front-runners in the German Bundesliga.
But the forward has struggled to find a place in Dortmund's team since the emergence of Jordan Sancho as the club manager.
This week Pulisic hinted on a move to Premier League when he said: "England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing," he said.
"So there is no reason why maybe one day I won't play here."
According to the Mail Chelsea are swift to land him early due to the threat of a transfer ban from FIFA looming, following their alleged recruitment of under-age players.
