Sadio Mane would fit in Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester United says Claude Le Roy
The Togo national team manager in an interview maintained that Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has the quality to play in any top European club, naming Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Sadio Mane who has been a reliable player for the Reds since his £34million arrival in 2016 has reached the landmark of 50 Premier League goals. The Senegalese now joins the list of other six African football legend who has reached that figure.
Le Roy told Stade: "He [Sadio Mane] is a great player.
“And he'd have his place at Manchester United, at Barcelona, or at Real Madrid.
"Sadio is an excellent player and I tell you that all of Africa watches him play in the Premier League at the weekend as well as the Champions League.
"However, a club is different to a national team.
"We often criticise players for not shining so much with the national team, but at the clubs, players know each other.
"All the time, the players see each other training together, whereas in the national team, they only see each other periodically."
