Henderson believe Oxlade-Chamberlain can still reclaim his place under Jurgen Klopp
Earlier the start of the season Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp claimed the former Arsenal man would either not return or come late to the team this season.
Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson think Liverpool are missing a massive player in Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a knee injury in last season's Champions League match with AS Roma, since then the midfielder has been on rehabilitation trying to force his return to full fitness.
"I know he will come back stronger," said Henderson.
“When he does and he gets back into his rhythm, he’ll be straight back in. So, fingers crossed he keeps going the way he has been because I think he’s progressing well with his rehab.”
"He’s a great lad and I just hope he can keep getting stronger and get back to us as soon as he can, because he’s a massive, massive player for us."
Liverpool have failed to secure a win in their last four matches and former Liverpool defender and Sky Sport pundit Jamie Carragher believe the Red are still lacking on the void left by Philippe Coutinho who left the club to join Barcelona in January.
