Less than two minutes after coming from the bench for James Milner, Daniel sturridge produced a stunner to seal a point for the Reds after being one goal down to Chelsea in the first half.

In the 87th minute of the game Sturridge produce a solo strike that could rank as one the best in the League this season.

He also fired-in a volley in Liverpool Carabao Cup defeat against the same opponent three-days-prior to their travel to Stamford Bridge.

Sturridge has now scored 17 Premier League goals as a substitute - only Olivier Giroud (19) and Jermain Defoe (24) have scored more.

Keown has likened Sturridge to a rugby star for his bravery late strike.

"That is absolutely outrageous from there. He looks up almost like Jonny Wilkinson.

"His head is up and these are his foot touches of the ball by the way.

"He's got the arrogance and audacity to try that, he commits to it, head down, the perfect weight and it's a wonderful goal."

The strike left fellow Match of the Day pundit Danny Murphy in awe too.

"I've never doubted his ability - he's a super finisher - but it's only his fitness," said Murphy

"If he stays fit and he's happy to do a bit-part behind Roberto Firmino, he could be crucial in Liverpool's title challenge."
