Liverpool given green light to sign Philippe Coutinho replica

It has been revealed that both Liverpool and Chelsea were contacted to sign £45m Brazilian during the summer window but refused

Outside the Naby Fekir saga during the summer transfer window it has been claimed that both Liverpool and Chelsea were also linked with Brazilian talent Pedrinho.

The 20-year-old who played for his home club Corinthians caught the eye in his homeland since making his debut in March last year.

According to UOL Esporte Perdinho's agent Kia Joorabchian offered Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Ajax and Chelsea the chance to sign the attacking midfielder but none of the club made a move.

Recently the Brazilian spoke about winning his home league.

"Our goal is to be among the six best placed,” he said.

“We want to be fighting for the top positions, but the last results in the Brazilian Championship have not been pleasant.

“We need to have a head and work even more.

“Then, if we get two victories, we can see from there.”

Pedrinho helped Corinthians win the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A in 2017 and then helped them win the Campeonato Paulista twice in as many years.
