Fabinho finally made his season debut for Liverpool as the Reds suffers elimination from the Carabao Cup
Wednesday Carabao Cup defeat to Chelsea saw Fabinho making his first season appearance for Liverpool. The 24-year-old who joined the Reds for a £44m in June was allowed to play until the 87th minutes of the match in the midfield alongside James Milner and Naby Keita.
Liverpool supporters were watching Fabinho’s full debut with keen interest due to how long they had to wait for it, but social media was abuzz with negative comment after negative comment concerning his performance.
Yeah, Fabinho isn’t ready yet. Way off the pace. Not really his fault either. Adaptation takes a lot of time, and throwing him against Chelsea, having to protect our 2nd tier back four, was always going to be tough. On the other hand, Keïta best player on the pitch so far.

Fabinho’s been poor but will go on to be a fantastic signing. Can see what he’ll offer but he’s off the pace.

Klopp was right, Fabinho is NOWHERE NEAR being ready enough for Premier League football.

Liverpool could amend their fault on Saturday as both team are set to lock horns again, this time in the Premier League.
