Fans getting excited as Oxlade-Chamberlain offer fresh recovery update

Fans are excited over Oxlade-Chamberlain's new update on his rehab

Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered a multiple ligament damage during Liverpool’s Champions League clash with Roma back in April.

The Liverpool midfielder has been working hard in the Melwood gym to get back early to full fitness despite it was confirmed by the club that the 24-year-old may only enjoy some bonus outings near the end of the season.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has now posted a time-lapse video of him working out under the watch of Reds coaches.

The former Arsenal man was seen using battle ropes before taking on the dreaded schwinn assault bike, after which was a round of boxing while sat on a bench as he kept the weight off the injured knee.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Seeing @Alex_OxChambo ig story... Makes me wonder how his recovery is said to be for the whole of this season. I really think he will be back this season.”

Another fan said: “Alex’s determination and hardwork towards his complete recovery makes me even more eager and excited to see him on the pitch again and better than ever!”

“Seeing @Alex_OxChambo back in melwood is great ... love it!!” a third fan wrote.
