Liverpool has reached terms to take Shaqiri to Anfield this summer
The Swiss midfielder has been linked heavily with move to the Premier League this summer following Stoke City relegation setback.
Shaqiri was reportedly targeted by both Liverpool and Manchester United for weeks now but few days ago the 26-year-old insisted he wants to stay in the Premier League, hinting he already had a club on the book.
Shaqiri said: “I want to stay in the Premier League, and you will find out my new club soon,”
Liverpool have done only one business so far this window when they landed Fabinho from Monaco while Keita deal was already agreed last summer.
According to the Telegraph
the Reds are set for another signing this summer with Shaqiri set to undergo a medical at Melwood on Friday.

The Telegraph report that Liverpool have agreed to pay Shaqiri 13.75million release clause.
Shaqiri who is known for his great speed and outside curves can play both as an attacker and a midfielder, so landing the 26-year-old won't stir up fears of the Reds ending the race to sign Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir whom they have reignited their interest on after failing on a first attempt to complete his transfer.
